Queenesia I Liveaboard

The Queenesia I is a fantastic boat for scuba diving around Komodo National Park. Designed with natural wood and crafted for aesthetic pleasure, the boat was custom-built in South Sulawesi for diving purposes. It features three cabins that can accommodate up to eight guests, each with individually controlled air conditioning, private en-suite bathrooms, storage space, and charging ports. The main deck area is spacious and perfect for enjoying ocean sunrises and sunsets, soaking up the sun and breeze, or taking a daily rest. Freshly prepared meals by the onboard cook, customized to guests' tastes, are made with local vegetables, fresh fish, and fruit.

The Queenesia I is suitable for scuba diving, snorkeling, island hopping, or simply relaxing with a small group or family and close friends. It offers more flexible itineraries, with a good balance of scuba diving and non-diving activities. It is ideal for sailing around Komodo National Park and gives divers the opportunity to see manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, and hike to some of the most beautiful areas in the national park on the same day. The Queenesia I is suitable for groups of eight or smaller groups of family and friends.

The rooms on the Queenesia I consist of a twin cabin, a double cabin, and a quad bunk cabin. The twin cabin has a maximum occupancy of two people and features a private en-suite bathroom, two single beds, an air conditioning unit, and charging ports. The double cabin has a maximum occupancy of two and includes a private en-suite bathroom, a double bed, an air conditioning unit, and charging ports. The quad bunk cabin has a maximum occupancy of four and includes four single bunk beds, two en-suite bathrooms, two air conditioning units, and charging ports.

The Queenesia I is equipped with a range of navigation and safety features to ensure a safe and smooth journey. Navigation equipment includes a radar, GPS, search lights, satellite phone, depth sounder, and fish finder. For safety, the boat is equipped with an E.P.I.R.B. distress system, fire alarm and extinguisher, engine room CCTV, radio VHF/DSC/SSB, first aid kits, emergency liferafts, emergency flares, bilge pump alarm, and medical oxygen.

In terms of dive equipment, the Queenesia I is equipped with 24 12L aluminum dive tanks, an Alkin compressor W32, a Din adapter, a diving tender, and underwater dive lights, as well as a variety of other diving equipment. These features ensure that divers have everything they need for a safe and enjoyable diving experience.

  • Siaba Island: Located in the central part of the park, Siaba Island is a small island with beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. It is a popular spot for swimming, snorkeling, and diving, and is known for its colorful coral reefs and diverse marine life.
 
  • Kalong Island:  Kalong Island is home to a large colony of flying foxes, which can be seen at sunset as they leave their roosts to feed. It is a popular spot for wildlife watching and photography.
