Boat Rental in Flores Indonesia

Many people do not know that Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago, right below the equator with over 16,500 islands and 80,000 km of beautiful and diverse coastline to explore. Many of the islands are uninhabited and very remote and have an amazing variety of, cultures, sailing destinations,  volcanic scenery, marine life, & diving adventures to be experienced, making this one of the most exclusive getaway luxury yacht charter and boat destinations to visit.  There are many highlights of yachting and boating in Indonesia.  So many things to see, you may need many boat trips.
For most people that are experienced and from a sailing perspective, this region is very under-developed compared to other well-known destinations in Europe, Americas, and Asia as well as other parts around the world. However, many of the yachts that do operate in these waters are wonderfully creative, luxurious and well-equipped and can offer an incomparable range of experiences – from scuba Diving in Komodo to night life in Bali to the amazing volcanic scenery, and the most diverse marine life found anywhere on the planet. We highly recommend a boat tour for The area!

Raja Ampat and Komodo are the two of the most popular "destinations" for sailing, but with so many other island destinations in the area and in thriving coral reefs, a charterer could spend a lifetime discovering Indonesia for sure.  There are so many highlights of Indonesia that provide the perfect location to charter one of our luxury yachts that there are too many to mention.  Very few sailing experiences around the world can compare with the culture, history and scenery that Indonesia has to offer.  We highly recommend a guided boat tour or a yacht rental.  Eitherway, Indonesia truly needs to be experienced on the water.

Komodo national Park tours are the way to go to truly see so many things and get the true culture of the island.  The area around the park one of the most bio-diverse destinations in the world for sure.  Actually you could say that for both on land and underwater in Komodo national Park.  The national park includes the island of Komodo, plus several other smaller islands such as Rinca,  Padar, and great diving spots such as; Many point, Tatwa Besar, Manta  Alley, Caslte Rok, Batu Bolong, Golden Pass, and many more.  The Komodo national park was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it now covers over 1800 square kilometres of land and sea. Obviously Scuba diving is extremely popular in Komodo National Park because of its beautiful and very high marine biodiversity, including, clown fish, Frog Fish, NudiBranches, Sponges, ocean sunfish, manta rays, eagle rays, pygmy seahorse, false pipefish, blue-ringed octopus, tunicates, and coral. Fortunately, many of the islands are so remote that they have not been over developed, so that is very good. There is so much to see on a boat, that we recommend being on the water as much and long as possible.

More Information about Komodo national Park.

The entire are of Komodo National Park includes three major islands:  Padar, Rinca, and Komodo, as well as many  smaller islands creating a total surface area (marine and land) of 1817km (proposed extensions would bring the total surface area up to 2,321km2). As well as the area being home to the Komodo dragons, the Park provides refuge for many other notable terrestrial species such as the Timor Deer, an endemic rat, and the orange-footed scrub fowl. The Park does includes one of the richest marine environments in the entire world, which includes; coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds, seamounts, and semi-enclosed bays. These diverse habitats have more than 1,000 species of fish in them, over 260 species of reef-building coral, and 70 species of sponges. There is so much to see for any tourist or local that wants to spend the time to learn and see so many things.

Komodo Park is known as one of the best dive areas in the world and it definitely deserves its reputation for many reasons.  The island itself is quite easily reached from Bali and the main island of Komodo along with a group of smaller islands which make the Komodo National Park. This park was set up primarily to conserve the famous Komodo dragons, which is the largest lizard in the world. Fortunately because of this, the waters off the island have also been protected from fishing and shipping, so remain mostly in pristine condition.  This is very beneficial for people wanting to scuba diving or sail along the beautiful waters.

For any one that scuba dives this amazing area will find a massive amount of fish in these islands, and the diversity is unique, with over 1000 of different recorded fish and a coral-species count of 250. All of the dive sites themselves are equally varied and on the same dive trip, descent large walls, you can swim through caves, see unique rock formations, or even float over pinnacles and enjoy the currents.

Sailing in Komodo waters is truly a unique experience and is highly recommended by everyone and anyone who has done is before.  There is nothing quite like it.  For boat rental, sail boat, or Yacht Charters, contact us today, and we can help you plan your vacation in this beautiful area.
